"Avatar" is wooing audiences worldwide with visually dazzling landscapes and nature-loving blue creatures. However the Vatican is not an easy crowd to please. For the Vatican, the alien imitation is just "bland." “The Vatican newspaper and radio station are condemning James Cameron's Idea of a movie for flirting with the idea that worship of nature can restore religion”. They call the movie a simplistic and sappy tale, despite its awe-inspiring special effects. Avatar was truly misunderstood by the Vatican, however the only fact that we all know is that Avatar is the second highest-grossing movie ever in the year 2010, The Vatican may disagree but for all the viewer, it was a good movie at all.
